Your next assignment starts with
a fellow member already on site.

You've bought internet leads before — sold five ways, form-filled, never answering the phone. This is not that. Association referrals come from licensed member plumbers physically at the damage, often with the homeowner beside them. Joining and listing is free. You commit to what you'll pay a fellow member — and contribute only on assignments you accept.

Two Levels of Membership

Free to Join. Earn Your Way to Assignments.

A profile costs nothing and never will. Certification is what makes you eligible to receive referrals — the association's standards are a credential, not a paywall.

Associate Member — Free

Create a profile, appear in the association directory, receive territory reports, and dispatch plumbing work to member plumbers. No dues, no card on file, no expiry. Many members start here while they complete certification.

Certified Member — Free to Hold

Verified IICRC certification, liability insurance, state licensing, and 24/7 response capability. Certification is what makes you eligible for assignments. You pay nothing to hold it — only when you accept an assignment.

Where These Calls Come From

Why Member Referrals Land

Confirmed at the Source

A licensed member plumber is on-site confirming real water damage — with GPS-verified address and photos. There is no better-confirmed emergency than one a plumber is standing in.

A Warm Handoff

The plumber tells the homeowner "I'm a member of NAPMA — they're sending a certified crew." You arrive introduced, not cold-calling.

One Member, One Assignment

One referral, one responder. Never passed to five firms at once. When the assignment is yours, it's yours to complete.

Your Commitment

You Set Your Terms

You declare what you'll pay a member plumber per assignment, by territory. Priority goes to the strongest overall member — rate × quality score × standing, with the money term capped so it can never outweigh performance.

Select Your Territories

Choose ZIP codes or a radius. Set different terms by zone. Set a monthly limit and pause anytime — you'll always know your association costs in advance.

Set Your Referral Rate

Member referral payments typically run $250–$800 per assignment, declared as a standing rate for a territory rather than haggled job by job. The plumber sees your rate before submitting, which is exactly why members route work to firms that treat them properly.

Walkthrough Guarantees Build Trust

Optionally attach a guaranteed payment — e.g. $500 if you walk the property but don't take the job. A guarantee tells member plumbers you stand behind your response, and members route more work to firms that do.

Quality Outranks Money

High close rates, fast response, and satisfied homeowners raise your standing — letting you take priority over members who commit more. In this association, performance outranks spending.

Certification

The association stays small and serious on purpose. Homeowners get professionals; plumber members trust the handoff; the association stays small enough to hold its standards.

Member Benefits

Beyond the Assignment

Reverse Dispatch

Find a plumbing problem behind the flood? Dispatch it to a member plumber in one tap — available to Associate Members too. Every job you route earns points that raise your standing in the association.

Review Engine

The association surveys your homeowners after every job and gives the happy ones a one-tap path to a public review. More reviews, better local ranking, more direct work.

FAQ

Common Questions

Is it really free to join?

Yes. Creating a profile, listing in the directory, and holding certification all cost nothing. You contribute only when you accept an assignment — that contribution is the referral payment to the member plumber who found the work, plus the association's administration fee.

What if an assignment turns out to be invalid?

Flag it within 72 hours and the association reviews it. Where a referral is confirmed invalid — wrong address, no actual damage, unreachable homeowner — your contribution is credited and the submitting member's standing is adjusted. Persistent problems are handled through member conduct review, not automatically.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. You contribute only on assignments you accept, set a monthly limit, and pause whenever. Certification standards are the only ongoing commitment.

How many members compete in my territory?

Certified memberships are capped per territory so every member can hold the response standard. Charter members in a new territory join alongside the fewest peers.

How does the association handle AOB, licensing, and claim-adjusting rules?

Certified members do not condition emergency response on an assignment of benefits, do not represent homeowners' claims without a public adjuster licence, and work within the licences they actually hold. We set all of it out — along with the referral-compensation rules and what we verify at enrolment — on our Standards & Compliance page.

What does a walkthrough guarantee do?

It's an optional addition to your terms: if you visit the property but don't take the job, the member plumber still receives the amount you pledged. It signals to member plumbers that you back your response — the strongest reason a member routes their next call to you.
